He actively participated in the reform, opening up and modernization of the motherland and became one of the earliest Hong Kong entrepreneurs to invest in the Mainland. It has invested more than 10 billion Hong Kong dollars to support the development of major infrastructure and social undertakings such as education, culture and health in the Mainland. The establishment of Fok Ying Tung Sports Fund will strongly support the development of national sports and make great contributions to Beijing’s hosting of the Asian Games and its bid for the Olympic Games. Dai Mingmeng, male, Han nationality, party member, born in August 1971, is a native of Jiangjin, Chongqing. He is the commander of Unit 92853 of China People’s Liberation Army and a special pilot of the navy. He is loyal to the party and determined to strengthen the army. Since he was selected as the first carrier-based fighter test pilot, he constantly challenged himself and took the lead in flying difficult subjects and risky projects. The first pilot successfully landed and took off in Liaoning, and the first one obtained the qualification certification of aircraft carrier. Led the team to explore and realize the transformation of carrier-based fighter from flight test to combat training duty, trained a capable and professional team of carrier-based fighter flight commanders and instructors, and made a major breakthrough in the training of carrier-based fighter pilots, making China one of the few countries in the world that can independently train carrier-based fighter pilots and making important contributions to the construction of China’s aircraft carrier combat effectiveness. Won the honorary title of "Carrier Fighter Hero Test Pilot".
